Washington Speech and Hearing Association Strategic Plan 2006-2009 

MISSION STATEMENT: Washington Speech & Hearing Association is an organization which promotes professional excellence in speech-language pathology and audiology. The mission of WSHA is to act as the primary resource and advocate for its members through legislation, continuing education, collaboration, professional endeavors and publications.

Focus 1: Association governance, management, operations and finances

Issue: Ensure efficient governance, management, operations, and adequate financing of the Association which results in an Association meeting and exceeding its members’ expectations for an efficiently run and financed organization that provides value-added programs and services.

Issue: Support continuing education and professional development needs of our members.

Issue:  Encourage continuous growth in the membership to obtain and develop member involvement with the business, leadership and committees of the Association.
